Frequently asked questions

Find quick answers to the questions we hear most often.

Are lab grown diamonds real diamonds?

Yes. A lab grown diamond is chemically and optically identical to a mined diamond: the same carbon crystal, the same hardness, the same brilliance. The only difference is origin: ours are grown in a laboratory rather than dug from the ground.

What's actually different between lab grown and natural diamonds?

Origin, mostly. Side by side they're identical, and standard diamond testers read both simply as "diamond." A lab grown diamond is created in a controlled facility instead of being mined. One honest note: lab grown resale value is currently low, so choose a piece to wear and enjoy, not as a financial investment.

Will anyone be able to tell my diamond is lab grown?

Not by looking. It's a real diamond with the same fire and sparkle as a mined one. The only record of its origin is the IGI report, which states that the stone is laboratory grown.

Are your diamonds certified?

Center stones 1 carat and above come with an IGI report, included with your order and verifiable on IGI's website. The report documents the 4Cs: carat, color, clarity, and cut.

What quality are your diamonds?

Most are E to F color (colorless to near-colorless) with VS clarity (eye-clean). Fancy-color stones are graded on the intensity of their color instead. The exact 4Cs are listed on every product page.

What metals do you use?

14K and 18K gold (yellow, white, and two-tone) and PT950 platinum. The karat or platinum stamp on your piece matches what's listed on the page.

What is an old mine cut?

A vintage, cushion-shaped cut with a small table, high crown, and chunky facets that throw broad, candle-lit flashes rather than the sharp sparkle of a modern round. We cut these in house, which is why we can offer them when most sellers can't.

How do I choose my ring size?

You select your US ring size at checkout. If you're not sure of your size, see our ring size guide or message us and we'll help you measure.

Can I customize a ring or request a specific color?

Often, yes. Custom pieces and fancy-color stones are part of what we do. Message us with what you have in mind and we'll tell you what's possible.

Can I see my actual ring before it ships?

Yes. For made-to-order and higher-value pieces, we send photos (and video on request) of your actual ring before it leaves us. Just ask us on WhatsApp.

Do you offer free shipping?

Yes. Every order ships free, fully insured and tracked via DHL. Orders over $500 require a signature on delivery for security.

What is your return policy?

Ready-to-Ship pieces can be returned within 15 days if unworn and in original condition; a 15% restocking fee applies and return shipping is paid by you. Made-to-Order pieces are created to your specifications and are final sale. Manufacturing defects are always covered for repair, replacement, or refund.

How do I pay, and is it secure?

You pay in full at checkout through secure, encrypted checkout, in US dollars. We send photos of made-to-order and higher-value pieces before they ship, so you see exactly what's coming.

How long does delivery take?

Ready-to-Ship orders are processed in 1–2 business days. Made-to-Order pieces are crafted first (most in 7–14 days, with complex designs taking 2–4 weeks) and then shipped. DHL delivery typically takes 2–7 days.
